Are Mondays giving you the blues? Look no further, your friends at Love The Captive have you covered. Monday Mixer happens almost every Monday night at Strummers located at 833 E. Fern in the Tower District. I got the pleasure to attend the first mixer of 2020, and it won’t be my last.

Every week, the mixer features different artists and Dj’s, most of whom are local. This week the lineup consisted of local favorites DJ nate. Jaysoul, and Brian Cade. As well as Dash-an electro-soul duo who came from Montana.

Monday Mixers are more than music and art, they encourage you to step outside of your circle of friends and talk to someone you have never met before. This is a great chance to network and meet new people!
